HIRE CHARGES
General: The Hall interior measures 63ft by 26.5ft (19.3m by 8.1m) giving 1,640 sq feet (152.5sq metres). It has partially sprung floor of beech wood strip with underfloor heating. The maximum seating capacity is 170. Charging include the use of tables and chairs, the Kitchen (extra £10/day) with its equipment and the cost of heating and lighting. Toilets include facilities for disabled people and for nappy changing. There is also a pay Telephone just outside the hall. Details of equipment included in hire charges and any additional equipment available for hire are shown overleaf. Hall equipment may be available for sole hire by agreement.
Hire Periods: Important: A hire period includes the time for setting-up and clearing away, unless a previous agreement has been made. Any flexibility in desired hiring times are by the agreement of the committee.
Hire Charges: Hourly Rate £12 per hour (commercial £20 per hour) £110 all day Weddings One off charge £200 for all day and evening. Daytime Parties and Events £50 Children’s Parties £36 £40 ( evenings or weekends) (Under 12’s. Maximum 4 hours to include setting up and clearing away) Discos & Weekend Evening Events Please contact us to discuss your requirements. (7.00pm to 11.00pm )
Please Note: All events i.e. parties, sales etc carry a security deposit of £25 which must be paid at the time of booking against damage and/or extra cleaning required.
Payment: Payment must be made to the Booking Secretary at the time of booking by cash or cheque made payable to West Hendred Village Hall. Regular users, with prior agreement of the Treasurer, may arrange to pay on monthly account. Important: The attention of all Hirers is drawn to the Standard Conditions of Hire. Especially concerning such matters as safety, damage, licences, the sale or supply of intoxicating liquor, and occupancy. |
